Following in the footsteps of Pat Benatar/Neil Giraldo and Buckingham/Nicks but with a decidedly more funky & progressive edge, music aficionados want to keep ears and eyes peeled for the long awaited new project from former Megadeth & Badi Assad guitarist, Jeff Young. Teaming up with Las Vegas bred vocalist/dancer, Sherri – the duo is poised to release their very first single, the de-tuned, sexy, swamp rock anthem, ”Come Closer.””We’re treating our first release like the old 45 RPM singles with a Side A & B,” states Young.The flip side of Jeff & Sherri’s first release is ”Wild Horses,” a poignant re-imagining of The Rolling Stones classic. This track features fretless bass by Ric Fierabracci (Stevie Wonder, Billy Cobham, Shakira) & Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner) on drums
