Phil Lewis Biography:

Imported from London, England, Phil Lewis is the original voice of 80s Hollywood rock band L.A. Guns. Since 1987, he has led the band to a series of gold and platinum records, hit songs, and played to sold out arenas worldwide. Their first four albums brought singles such as Sex Action, Electric Gypsy, and Over the Edge, while the iconic Ballad of Jayne cemented their place in rock history. In the mid 90s, Lewis took a break from L.A. Guns, but returned in 2000 to record seven more albums. The new record, Hollywood Forever, was released in June of 2012 to rave reviews, TV coverage, and a world tour that brought packed crowds of loyal fans hungry for new rock n’ roll. When not playing with Guns, Lewis also writes, records, and performs his own solo material. Two of his solo albums - More Purple Than Black and Gypsy - quickly sold out of their limited edition run, while his acoustic shows provide fans with a unique chance to hear their favorite songs in an intimate setting. For 25 years, Phil Lewis has fronted one of the best bands to come out of the Sunset Strip and written some of the most memorable songs of the decade. Today, he tirelessly records and tours, thrilling fans with the unique style and creativity they’ve come to expect.
